Have finished the first two episodes of The Good Doctor so far.
It's the first II got serious into watching a medical field show after watching several clips of M.D. House long ago.
II guess the acting in shows of that genre feels robotic? Like AI (before its boom)? II'm not used to that kind of acting, but honestly the show can give you some nice positive vibes, aside some tragedies and body organs.
II feel like II like Shaun Murphy more as a main character than House, the actor Freddie Highmore has portrayed him pretty well. House (the show) has meaner vibes II guess?
T'was a nice experience overall.

斉木楠雄のΨ難 [Saiki Kusuo no Sai-Nan] [The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.]

It's the first anime that actually made me laugh, and II've many people on YouTube saying the same thing.
II've been seeing the pink-haired same-expression-character with antennas on his head and green glasses a few times in a long span of time, and II didn't like the character design because its colors were too saturated (During watching season 1, II liked the pink & green colors' contrast it has and thought it is clever).
Later on II learned that he's the main character on the show, so II assumed it could be a slice of life revolving around him.
But when II saw a teaser of the show that he says he has supernatural powers, that caught me off-guard since II didn't expect this show to have this trope, and it seemed somehow interesting, especially how many times II've seen this character's face, so II assumed it could be critically-acclaimed.
II thought Saiki could be the most interesting character since he has supernatural powers and powerless characters would feel bland, but it turned out that many characters can possibly as interesting as him, since they are very funny exaggerations of the tropes they represent, and II've always thought this could be perfect for a comedy show, so II was glad II found one show like this for the first time.
It is very fast-paced since they pack about 4-7 short episodes in each one of 25-30 minute runtime episodes (which is an average runtime for anime episodes).
II've been watching chronological complete one story non-split episodic TV shows for a long time and II've always liked that format since it can feel consistent and you might won't worry if watching certain episodes was a waste of time (some shows change the story after the season ends so it doesn't hold true unfortunately), but Saiki's fast-pacing of these split and short episodes make them more durable and interesting since they can pack as many gags and details as possible, which are executed quite well, although watching them all can be the most enjoyably glorious brain-damage II've ever experienced, and that's how II would sum up this show.
Sometimes it's too many episodes II decided to skip some and try to find the most important episodes. II even watched some episodes recently, which turned out II've already watched them but forgot most of what's going on in them. So if you feel like you can't endure them all at once, you can take a break and watch the episodes unchronologically and in my experience, II haven't felt like II was missing about things.
An interesting experience!

This is my oldest daughter's favorite anime! She laughs the entire time she's watching it. Psyched to see someone else dig it. Very Happy

Nothing at the moment. The last thing I watched was yesterday and it was an episode of "I Married Joan".

猫の恩返し [The Cat Returns]

A Studio Ghibli anime fantasy film which unlike many of Ghibli's films, is not very deep and instead is light-hearted and doesn't take itself too seriously.

II think this movie has the best character design in any Ghibli film, as it still somehow looks modern to this day for a 2002 film, and immensely differs from the big-forehead, pitch-black-iris-eyed, deadpan-faced Ghibli art style of people (and old people which have a tiny chin and lateral cheeks (a face structure Hayao Miyazaki himself has)).

Most characters in this flim are likable enough, even if very few of them have negative traits.
Tiny spoilers: One of the main characters is a spin-off character from a previous Ghibli film.

It is only 75 minutes long and progresses fast enough.

This is the only film 森田宏幸 [Hiroyuki Morita] has ever directed, whom worked as an animator on anime movies such as: Akira, Kiki's Delivery Service, Perfect Blue etc.

It is a quite uplifting flim with very few quite dark moments which resolvely wear-off later on.
If you like cats and light-heartedness, then you should watch this movie.

I'm watching two shows I never saw during release.

Total Drama
The Americans

I found The Americans after watching The Diplomat. I like them both but I'm getting through TD a lot quicker than The Americans. My attention span is completely shot.
