There are still four days leftโare a lot of people watching the remaining 2025 films now? Well, youโd better hurry up!
Um, on Monday I saw Obsession. I think of it as a 2026 film because that's when mass audiences could see it, even though it technically was released in festival last year. Same thing with The Christophers; I saw that a couple weeks ago. Otherwise, I've been mostly watching MST3K. _________________ on such a winter's day

How was Obsession?! More importantly how much explicit sexual conduct is in it? My daughter Genni who is thirteen LOVES horror but HATES explicit sexual scenes. We love most of what Blumhouse puts out.
Coming in 2027, Hayden's "Best Episodes of MST3K" tournament _________________ I wanna take Sean Penn
And take Sean Bean
Put 'em in a blender
And make Sean Pean

Mitchell. Pardon me. Mitchell!
Bro, I didn't intend to appear I was blowing you off, hah. I remember in DM I mentioned my bizarre work life. Mitchell. I'm in the middle of an 8-day show, only been home to sleep since Tue. But I had time to log into BEA for 10 seconds yesterday from my phone at work to post a one-word response to Bozo. Mitchell! Eye on the sammich.
Obsession, let's see. I liked the movie. It was fun. It's not breaking new turf but it's an effective thriller-horror. The sexy scenes, hmm. I remember two. One was early in the film and it was fairly tame, more on the erotic side and not much shown. The second was later on after the movie became much darker. That scene shows more skin but it's dimly lit and meant to feel unsettling. Neither scene shows any private parts if that's what you're asking, though it's obvious what the characters are doing. I wouldn't call them "explicit." Nevertheless, Obsession gets a thumbs up from me and I totally recommend. On a side a note, I read this morning Obsession has a chance to make more money at the box office this weekend than the latest Star Wars movie. That's right, an R-rated indie horror film that cost less than a million dollars to make is selling more tickets right now than Star Wars. That makes me so happy. I still have hope for cinema. To hell with Star Wars! To hell with Disney!
And on another side note, I am totally down for a Top 10 or Top 25 MST3K Episodes Poll! Mitchell, heart's pounding. Mitchell, veins cloggin'. _________________ on such a winter's day

Awesome! We'll totally check it out then.
And yeah. Modern Disney SUCKS sadly. Movies by corporate boards just don't work. Will be keeping my eyes on the weekend box office numbers too. Thanks for the heads up!
If Obsession's third weekend out-grosses Star Wars's second weekend, that would be wild. I'm curious to see if Obsession will pull it off. We'll know soon enough. As for this poll, Obsession is technically eligible. Yet it's so late in the poll, I doubt its inclusion on new lists or edited submitted lists would push it onto the Top 25. I figure it'll make next year's list once more people see it. But whatever, I just edited it into my list, post #35. Cause why not? Can put it on next year's list too. _________________ on such a winter's day
