This album is such a shiny shiny bright lovely thing!! It is the epitome of liveloving, it is the counterpoint to all those misanthropic black metal albums on my chart. And this one album can hold back the tides of all that black metal hopelessness! This is pure crystalline happiness. Happiness may seem fleeting but this album sure is a fixed point. Also I may have a bit of a crush on Claire, don't tell her. O_O |

Great album. One of the best of 2012. (Also I like Brandon's whimsical commentary)

This +Skin. I actually far prefer both to Oblivion (though Oblivion clocks in as third favorite and there aren't really any bad tracks)

Seconded. Though be warned, where Visions is endearing, King Night is (especially if you can make out the lyrics) pretty unsettling (but in a good way; pretty much the quintessential "Witch House" album -which honestly I'm still hesitant to even acknowledge as a genre... Regardless, great album.)

Fun fact: this is the last album I played in my first car before selling it, and it (the album, not the car) got me through quite a few drunken nights with friends.

Oh I listened to part of that album but don't remember it, will need to give it a full listen.
Anyways yay! I agree that the trio of Genesis, Circumambient, and Skin is stellar but I love the whole thing. Instant happiness.
