Touré's getting a beating. I can only assume part of the voters don't even know what he was about, and I don't expect him to win against Waits, but still, don't get ignorance get the better of you. Touré is a far more important, and more original, artist than good ol' Tom.

Ali Farka Touré, for sure. I like Tom Waits, but I like what I've heard from Ali Farka Touré better. So beautiful.
