This is full-Poe level stuff. I'm sure it's great though, don't think I could listen to 20 cds of it, so what're some of the highlights?

Oh, I think I actually listened to a disc of this when Poe recommended it a while back. All seemed very gaudy and traditional, a bit like an Oriental take on 'How Much Is That Doggy In The Window?'. It might have been some other Poe recommendation though, I don't keep a spreadsheet. Anyway, if it is what I'm thinking of, it's not my cup of tea. Very "of the age", I guess you could say. A bit like reading old Elizabethan plays by people other than Shakespeare, I just kind of felt like this was probably pretty good at the time, but it doesn't hold up well and it says nothing to me about my life. Or I could've been listening to an entirely different collection of pre-War Oriental pop music. I guess we'll never know. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs.
