These numbers are a bit questionable. This may only apply to certain types of events, such as private parties, festivals, or college gigs. Because most indie rock bands like Black Angels won't be making anywhere near $5K every gig.

Tbf my Mum and Dad set it up and put a bunch of money in it. It's pretty much what I use when I wanna buy something like a Laptop, or new phone.

I probably had savings at 17 also. It was the next 10+ years where I totally destroyed it and racked up a black hole of debt.
