Honestly amazed Fela Kuti has been able to make it this far. So what the heck, I'll give him another vote, see if he manages to overcome this juggernaut.

(I doubt it, but it should be fun to watch)

Where Prince is a charming shooting star, Fela Kuti is one of the masters of a complex musical lexicon that incorporates myriad influences and biting politics. Frankly, I'd be shocked and offended if he didn't continue to reach new heights.

Seriously? Every commenter has voted Fela. Where are the Prince voters? Say something, people!

I voted Prince. Because I love more of his music. And I just think he was more talented than Fela. Not by a huge amount however.
