I thought perhaps the people of this forum could use a specific thread to recommend albums for each other based on our individual lists.
I've only been really hunting for good album-oriented music in the last few years, and I'm pretty sure I've got quite a few more albums to listen to before I've heard them all, so it's good to be given specific places to look.
So does anyone have any recommendations for me or would like some recommendations for themselves?

Yes I always listen for new recommendations. I'm so bored with everything I have right now.

Just got it, sounds like a good laugh. I'm a little familiar with Cake so we will see.

For squishy, just taking a quick glance I would say

Opeth - (Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia)

Fever Ray - (The Knife - Silent Shout)

Simon & Garfunkel - (Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde or Highway 61 Revisited)

Dimmu are amazing, if you dont like the Puritanical album, try Death Cult Armageddon or Enthrone Darkness Triumphant.
