This chart rules. It gave me the push to finally get around to checking out that Arthur Russell album and I'm still digesting it but it's so good, seriously if any of you all still need the push here it is, go listen. Looking forward to checking out some of these other ones I haven't heard yet too.

What can I say, I just really dislike that album. Not in theory or in principle, not in the same way I hate Pink Floyd's The Wall, or with the same malice with which I despise Jay-Z's last album, or with the same disdain I have for Macklemore, but in terms of albums that I actually find painful to listen to I can't think of anything I hate more than Polly Bradfield's Solo Violin Improvisations. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Hardly, a best chart (if we could call one that but... yes it is fun to call one that) will have to entries which appeal to a very broad range of people, perhaps taking a risk here or there while being unashamed of.... I'm looking too far into this
