There's probably a thread of this nature buried somewhere in the caves, but I can't be bothered to search for it. The idea here is simple - post one YouTube clip at a time, be it a live performance, an interview, a music video, whatever, just something that you love (feel free to comment on which videos you've enjoyed too). Basically I just want to be able to watch some great clips when I'm bored, and hopefully BEA can build a library of them in this thread. I'll kick off proceedings with this epic Luther Vandross performance of 'A House Is Not A Home'; enjoy.

This may have no musical significance for anyone, but it's a great video on the moment when Joel Zimmerman (aka Deadmau5) actually discovered the vocal mix on one of his most famous tracks The Veldt. I love this video because it shows how can a random guy on twitter just sends him the vocal mix he made to Deamau5. (He always does this live chats while working or just digging the internet) At first the threatens to trash the song if it sucks, only to become amazed by the result. He immediately contact the guy.

With the internet era, everything is possible. One moment you are a no one, the next you have your name on one of the biggest songs in Dance Music.

Plus his actual reaction around 1:06 min its hilarious.

MOTHERFUCKER!! LOL

Have always liked this band - guess I should knock their 'best of' on the head for once and for all and check out their albums. Performance is from '87 but guess I would have seen it around '94 or '95 on some kind of re-run - pretty memorable!

One of my favourite live performances, delivered by a band I'm addicted to right now. So beautiful and emotional piano/drum duet.

I couldn't give too shits about deadmau5 but this is great. Terrific illustration of the possibilities of the internet era. Really great just watching a guy go from random guy on twitter to guy who is about to be heard in clubs around the nation in 6 minutes. (Also lol around 4 minutes when his wife or girlfriend or whatever gets attacked by the cat).

Anyway, here's Edan being a beast. (The cool shit starts around 1:26)

The first half the acapella was later used when he was featured on Blu's track "Ronald Morgan" off of NoYork! and the second half was used on the Cut Chemist track "Storm" with Mr. Lif on The Audience's Listening, (both albums which you need in your life). But yeah, Edan can spit like a motherfucker
