Probably the only decent album by this band. Though a bit uninteresting at times, it does have In Between Days and Close To Me, which I enjoy.
EDIT: When I say decent, it means salvageable. I'm confident that The Cure are not a band for me. _________________

Uh-huh
Anyways it's one of their weaker ones from the 80s but still very good. It's hard to find much they did wrong during that decade.

Don't worry. You're young. You've still got time to see the light. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

exactly.
I should clarify my remarks just in case they are misconstrued....
This album Rules!!!
That's better.
Here's the proper ranking of their 80s albums...
Essential
Pornography
Disintegration
17 Seconds
Standing on the Beach
Faith
Delicious
In Concert
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me
The Head on the Door
Japanese Whispers
The Top (which still rules. )

I'm actually surprised you're not a fan of Pornography. Like no judgment, I just would've pegged you as liking it.
Took me a while to listen to this one, as my dad's not huge on this one and I kinda just went off what he thought was the best for some time. _________________

meccalecca is totally right. There should be a minimum age requirement to join this site. But anyway, The Head on the Door is wonderful, one of the best albums by this band (and of all time imo). I have a particular affinity towards this album because this was the first Cure album I listened to. It begins with the incredible hook song, In Between Days, followed by the haunting melody of Kyoto Song. And it's one great song after another. Other highlights are Baby Screams and A Night Like This. This album may not be as good as Disintegration, but it's the number 1 Cure album in my heart.
