While I'm here this is another irritating thing. EPs. Don't use the classic "YOU CAN GO TO RYM TO RATE EPS LOL!lo!l!l!l!l!l!!" because that's just stupid.
Why are they not allowed on the database unless they're over 4 songs or 20 minutes? Like, really, what makes the difference? So, you're saying a 19m 59s EP is less worthy of being on this database than a 20m 1s EP is? I just don't get why *all* EPs aren't allowed here lol
Also, the 4 songs thing is pretty pointless. Like, there's some EPs that are under 10 minutes and have more than 4 songs, but some that are around 16 minutes but only have 4 songs. I just really really really really don't get these rules.

I'll stop when this bullshit rule is at least discussed without "this is what is final", you know, when you start to realise that a large majority of people want EPs integrated into this site and you should at least be thinking "all right, let's see what we can do", instead of just pure complaining every time this is brought up. _________________

Maybe a better way to go about this would be to not start off by saying it's "stupid" and "bullshit". A little bit of respect might just go further. And it would be nice to see some once in a while here when it comes to how AM's (not yours) site is run. Instead, the suggestions forum is becoming riddled with "Fuck the new points system", "I'll stop when this bullshit rule is at least discussed"...AM deserves more respect for what he does for you than that. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Fine, whatever. Obviously masses of people asking for EPs on this site literally means nothing. I'm not disrespecting albummaster at all, I'm just saying lots and lots of people want this thing and I don't think it's really being taken as seriously as it should. Just "this is what we decided". I know this is albummaster's site, but it's a site that's designed to be easy-to-use and tries to satisfy its users to a good extent. I feel the limitation of not being able to put EPs on charts as I'd like to (there's a few that I can't put on charts that I would like to) is just a limitation that's not really needed. I apologise for the profanity, but my point is still at hand. I feel EPs would increase my enjoyment of the site a hell of a lot more, and I know that many people will support this. I'm not suggesting this because I think it'll be a "cool thing to have on the site" without weighing up the advantages and disadvantages (there really isn't that many of the latter as far as I can see), but more the fact that it's a thing that would be great and wouldn't really hinder the site much. I'm just unsure as to why this rule is in place. EPs, to some people, can be as important as full albums. _________________

If I was party to a real-life argument, in which I was not involved, and suddenly heard somebody use an example of something I'd said, taken out of context, implying that all I'd done was insult somebody (when in fact the statement in question was merely a small part of a much more reasonable, valid disagreement), I'd tell them to go fuck themselves too. There was no need to bring me into this argument whatsoever.
Also, apropos of fuck all, I largely agree with the site's stance on EPs. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
