Dang, this list makes me really want to finally write my career assessment of Avril Lavigne. Even though 2011's Goodbye Lullaby is already on my top ten OF ALL TIME, I can say with equal austerity that 2007's The Best Damn Thing really is up there with Enema of the State and Dookie with the greatest pop-punk albums ever made.

i cannot argue with The Moon & Antarctica by Modest Mouse as the #1 of the 2000s. It's an awesome pseudo-concept rock album and imo the pinnacle of their career. Also nice to see another with Girl Talk appreciation.
