Oh shit, could go either way here. Television and Suicide have me leaning 77 but I think 65 might be more consistent overall. Will have to do some relistening.

Yeah, this is a tough decision. Two Sevens Clash is my favourite album here, but Bringing It All Back Home, Otis Blue, and Marquee Moon aren't far behind. Similarly, the singles are a close call - 'California Dreamin''/'I Can't Help Myself'/'I Ain't No Miracle Worker'/'Nowhere to Run' (the latter being the best single on either team) vs. 'I Feel Love'/'Got to Give it Up'/'Whole Wide World' (the best 1977 single here)/'Oh Bondage!' almost impossible. The only real negative I can see is Jarre, who annoys me. Not huge on that Muddy Waters album either, but I haven't heard it in years and I'm due a relisten. And Damned Damned Damned is fucking great, but so is Blind Joe Death. Never been a massive fan of The Who (album-wise), but My Generation is definitely one of their better releases. As I started off by saying, this is a really tough decision. Leaning ever so slightly towards 1965, but I'm talking millimetres. Not gonna vote yet.

Hmm, very tight. Think I'm leaning towards 1965 as things stand (primarily due to the Bob Dylan and Otis Redding albums, as well as 'California Dreamin'').

'77 gets my vote. That 65 team is still pretty decent and everything, but I can't go against 2 albums in my top 100.

Damn you, alel, for using my Bob Dylan against me!!!

Very impressive team yet again, by the way. Well done.

Echoing what others have already said, this matchup has me see-sawing my vote. I love what both Alel and Mercury have thrown into this match. Blind Joe Death, Bringing it all Back Home, Marquee Moon, Suicide, and Two Sevens Clash are all album albums I'd call perfect, and all of the other picks are all very good albums. And the singles are pretty evenly great as well. Slight edge to 77 for the combo of Marquee Moon + Suicide + Two Sevens Clash

'65; Jarre the decider.

Sorry that it's the one track I dislike that should decide, but otherwise fav Otis + fav Dylan vs. fav Suicide + fav Television is impossible otherwise.
