As the title says. Only stuff I've listened to is John Coltrane (A Love Supreme), Miles Davis (Kind of Blue, Bitches Brew), and Tom Waits (Mule Variations, Rain Dogs, Swordfishtrombones). I don't know how much Tom Waits count as jazz, but I figured I'd throw him in.
While I haven't listened to a lot, what I have listened to I really liked ๐ , so if some of you can point me in the right direction that would be fantastic. Because I'm new to this genre something more accessible might be better, more so than something for an experienced jazz listener. Thanks! ๐

Nice! I bookmarked it. Any specific recommendations?
Well, if you haven't heard The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady yet, I highly recommend that. As for stuff a bit lower on the list, Hank Mobley's Soul Station and Lee Morgan's The Sidewinder are fantastic easy going bop albums. _________________ Doubles & Conch
As the title says. Only stuff I've listened to is John Coltrane (A Love Supreme), Miles Davis (Kind of Blue, Bitches Brew), Talk Talk (Laughing Stock), and Tom Waits (Mule Variations, Rain Dogs, Swordfishtrombones). I don't know how much those last 2 count as jazz, but I figured I'd throw them in.
