Hi BEA! Welcome to my ULL. So I couldn't exactly think of a gimmick to make this ULL especially sexy, so I'm leaving that to y'all. If anyone has an album they wanna throw my way, toss it over here along with how you want me to talk about said album. (In the style of Meaghan Garvey? Entirely in riddles? As a coming-of-age story story? As a performance art piece? You decide!)

I'll also be interspersing this with stuff from mecca's Africa charts, some noWax & Norm recs I gotta get around to, some 2015 shit, and hopefully a few plug sessions 😉

in the mean time here's a video of an Umbrella Cockatoo headbanging to Cannibal Corpse

Terror & Healing by Tsembla

Could you talk about this one as though yr selling it on a late night informercial and no one will ever investigate your claims?

I like the concept of an ILL (interactive Listening Log). As well as the above see what you think of Just Landed Cosmic Kid by Michael Bundt. Found the track below on a Soul Jazz Krautrock compy... think you may like, chap.

Talk about the album like you're a German kid on an exchange trip to Brussles but your Mum only decided to pack Lederhosen and you're spending most of your week with this as your only solace because all the locals take the piss out of you whilst tucking into their expensive chocolates (apart from NicholasW, who we all know is Belgium #plugjoke).

We've given you tools with which to water your hard-to-reach plants, we've offered bendable pillows designed to comfort the neck in ways that no other pillow could, and now, something new.

For only 19.99 payments of $400 you can now own the the experiential free folk album you've always been looking for, the one that comes free from judgement: that album who's many dissonant electro loops and wild percussion can only be heard by pigheaded males.

That's right! Your mom will never tell you to turn "this noise" off, your girlfriend will never question your sanity. Your lady-plants wont shrivel on you! And on those long-days when your significant other is trying to have one of those "talks" about how you never listen, you will be listening alright, to Terror & Healing! Just nod every once in awhile and listen to the the sweet sounds of chaotic finnish improvisation. i.e. not your significant other's nagging.

FACT: This album can only be heard by those of the male gender. You need not worry about judgement from your lady-friends!

FACT: Since BEA is one big sausage fest, nobody will be able to test this.

FACT: If in case some of you try this with a sister or female cat and they do hear it, in all likelihood, that person is in fact a man in disguise (and a refund will not be offered)

Order now! And we'll also throw in this free bobblhead of The Descendents' Milo Aukerman!

Liebste Mutter,

Fritz

listen to a musical soundtrack of your choice with whatever cast you prefer and respond to it as if you're the New Yorker Broadway critic and your review on opening night will make or break the futures of everyone involved in the production.
