I dunno I thought it was quite great. A good mix of Bradford songs and Lockett songs, and then the way poppier sorta thing that Moses Archuleta and Joshua Fauver brought in on Nothing Ever Happened, I dunno, there's a good amount of variety here. And the structure of the album being in sorta thirds with the suite in the middle, that really does it for me. this album is great.

I used to love the shit out of this. Now I think it's good but there's nothing more to it. There are some really great songs on here. _________________

I'm not a huge fan of Deerhunter, but I do like them, and this is easily my favorite of theirs. Haven't listened to it in a while. So, maybe it's time to rectify that.

I adore this album and Weird Era Cont. too. For me Deerhunter's best by quite a large margin.

It's a pretty great album. I think Halcyon Digest is their crowning achievement to this point, but this is definitely next in line.

not even the besdt album of a band that's kind of faceless in the endless parade of mid-aughts indie rock, tbh.

I like this. It's difficult to separate from Halcyon Digest in terms of quality. For me, Microcastle is the easier listen but I suspect Halcyon Digest is the better album overall.
