I have this strong love for Mark Knopfler that I don't think will ever go away, so this comes from a place of bias, but this is one of the best albums Dire Straits ever put out. I think it gets overshadowed by stuff like Brothers In Arms and Making Movies, but in my opinion, this is their second best album behind Brothers In Arms (because that album is just basically perfect).

Also, "Telegraph Road" is probably in my top-5 Dire Straits songs ever

Telegraph Road is one of the greatest epic tracks in rock history. Knopfler proved what a true master he is with this one.
