I think it's a pretty good album overall. I was under the impression that these song would sound similar to Pipers At The Gates Of Dawn or Saucerful Of Secrets stuff. I was disappointed when I first listened to it, but this album eventually grew onto me. Syd's songwriting is great, and the acoustic sound sounds good with it. Octopus is the best song.
