Fantastic fantastic album. Quintessential Talking Heads, so quirky and odd and unique.
Plus, Jerry Harrison is one hell of a guitar player and I think he doesn't get the credit he deserves sometimes.

Also worth noting that Adrian Belew provided his guitar chops to the record as well.

One of those gems of the canon where I completely agree with all the good that's said about it and more. Definitely going to be added to my overall once I figure out a way to articulate my love of it.

I mean kind of. Born Under Punches through Houses in Motion has a totally freaky, energetic feel. Seen and Unseen through The Overload is a bit more tame, a little bit more Post-Punkish and quieter.

Brian Eno seems to have been very into using other artists' albums as vehicles for his insinuation of ambient music into the mainstream. i never understood why he never integrated the instrumental, slower bits with the faster, poppier bits as well on others' works as he did on his own Another Green World. luckily, Remain in Light doesn't suffer for it as much as Low does because the "ambient side" doesn't feel so aimless and actually has thematic continuity with the rest of the album.

It's a good album but overrated IMO. I don't even consider this album their best.
