i've tried this album THREE different times between ~1999 and ~2013 and could never dig it.

it seems like it has to count as some sort of gateway album, but i can't really name any album that i quite was prepared for by this. it's something to itself, and it's pretty good, but it also seems to sink closer and closer to obsolescence every time i listen. hoping i can get the magic back soon.
