Great album that I haven't listened to in ages. Probably my second favourite Dylan album.

I'm a huge Blonde on Blonde fan. The album cover is one of the coolest ever, and I love that we get such a wide range of styles from Dylan at his peak and that it lasts so long. It's rare that a double LP length comes out as perfect timing for a rock album, as much as people tend to have the habit of releasing at least one such work. Typically, I'm impressed that artists manage to hold onto me that long but can usually think of something that I would like to see go in the best case scenarios. In that respect, Blonde on Blonde ranks among Trout Mask Replica, Twin Infinitives, and Lighthouse as impeccable front to back rock experiences.

I liek da bangers. "I Want You" is especially my jam.

I've only listen to this all the way through, like, twice, though.

It's possibly because I've been going through a very quiet, latent Dylan Renaissance over the past few months (I really, really connected to the first few volumes of the Bootleg Tapes during my flight down to Mexico and listened to Dylan a lot while I was there over the summer), but I can't think of what songs here don't constitute bangers.

My second favorite by Dylan as well, only behind Blood on the Tracks. And to go with what Satie says, the album cover is great. Such a perfect fit for this collection of songs.

This quote is from Kristofer Lenz of Consequence of Sound on Blonde on Blonde.. "In this blurry, mind-bending image, we perceive the clearest vision of the artist ever offered."

That fucking quote resonates with me. Every time I look at that album cover I think about that quote.

Yeah it's flawless. My favorite Dylan studio LP if I had to pick one, though I'd probably rank it below a couple of the various bootlegs (though just barely)

I always feel stupid talking about which of Dylan's classic albums is the best because it means I have to find some reason to put one down. So I'll bypass that part of my comment and just say it's brilliant. Bangers straight through.

It's tough, but I think it's very possible to talk about his best work and not put the others down. There are 4 albums of his that on any given day I could list as his best. I really can't say that more than a handful of artists.

Just taking the albums from 65-66, it's important to realize that stretch encapsulates an entire era, yet shows different qualities and nuances so well. Regardless, I wouldn't want to put down any of Dylan's top 4 or 5 records because simply put they are just really god damn good.

It's extremely enjoyable, but that's about all I currently have for this record. I would probably rank it in my top 5 Dylan.
