I need to re-listen to this, but I just couldn't get into this the first time I heard it. I don't know what it is, it just did not hit me the way I hoped it would. Perhaps it'll eventually click.

Thought it was just decent on my first few listens, but now I really like it. It's not a favorite or anything, but it's an extremely solid listen.

Haven't finished Divers yet, but this is the weakest of album of hers. Still really good.

Divers was one of my favorite albums of 2015, which in turn led me to revisit her back catalog. It's a great album, although probably not her best. Emily is an especially gorgeous song. She truly is a generational talent.

Joanna Newsom + Van Dyke Parks + Jim O'Rourke + Steve Albini = Heaven. Ys is a magnificent musical work of art. Took me a while to fully appreciate how good it really is

I liked it to some extent, but I didn't have any connection with the record. I found Divers to be a more concise and accessible record.
