One of the best early rock LP's. Lulls a bit during the slower songs, but then when you listen to the rockers you can see why - Richard was one of the wildest, most uninhibited amongst rock'n'rolls vanguard, and tracks like Tutti Frutti and Rip It Up still go hard as hell now, nearly 60 years after their release.

This album has some of the most punk rock in your face records.

And for how many good tracks there are on a 50s record that isn't Jazz, it's really impressive.

Favorite album of the 50s.
