I have been trying to get my friends who love music to join the website. How bout you guys? It's cool to see your friends favorites. Has anybody else tried that as well? Is it hard to convince them to commit?

Yes, it is difficult, because people think it is a lot of work. It is totally worth it though to realize your favorites.
