To give you an idea of what I think of this album, Glenn Beck is probably my favorite thing about it.

Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

Awwww here it goes #musesucks

I love this album, and I think it's Muse's best album. At one point, this was in my overall, though not anymore.

But yea, this album is fantastic. I love the music on here (the lyrics are ehhh but that's Muse for you), the drums in the title track with that piano line are killer. I never got sick of Uprising no matter how much I heard it on the radio, Guiding Light is beautiful, as is I Belong To You and the Exogenesis Symphony at the end is fantastic.

Is it pompous? Is it self-indulgent? Sure, but prog rock usually is. From that perspective, this isn't any different than a Yes, ELP, or Pink Floyd album.

I think Black Holes and Revelation is really really close to this album, but I think this edges out for my favorite Muse album, it's excellent.
