Time Out is one of the best jazz albums of all time, top 5 from the genre for sure. Current rank in the charts is way too low in my opinion.

This year was the first time I listened to this album in it's entirety and out of the maybe 20-30 jazz albums I also listened to, this was easily a top 5... haha, get it?

I'm by no means a jazz connoisseur.

This album is one of the all time great achievements in jazz. It is both challenging and accessible. It is smooth and cool in the west coast style, but still true to the real jazz idiom. It has rightly assumed its place in the pantheon of iconic jazz albums.
