Hi all,
I know 2014 is one month from conclusion, but with the leaky internets these days, there's a good chance most of you have a good idea of what your 2014 favorites are. Besides, the purpose of this thread is to give me and others an inkling into albums I or you might have missed.
So please, post your top 3 albums of 2014 in this thread. Feel free to extol their virtues. I, and hopefully others, will use it as a quick reference point for those albums that escaped my/your ear or maybe some albums i/you need to give another listen to. (I know i could just peruse the BEA '14 list, but i find this fun.) Thank you!
I'll start off with my current top 3 of 2014:
01 cloud nothings - here and nowhere else
02 jenny lewis - the voyager
03 spoon - they want my soul
[EDIT: Predictably, i've already encountered a change, swapping spoon and jenny lewis, and against me! is giving jenny a run for #3.] _________________ fav artists NOW | ALL-TIME favs | i listen 2 more music than u so u don't have 2!

YG - My Krazy Life
Shackletom - Freezing Opening Thawing
Crystal Method - Crystal Method
I like the first one because, expected of me, it was pretty diverse. The same goes for the second one. But for the third one, it was very different from the normal Crystal Method albums or brostep albums. The guest stars fit their songs perfectly and the production was phenomenal IMO.
Anyway, that's what I've got so far. I've only heard 41 albums from 2014, so it might change later on. But these three are hard to beat to me. I rate all three 95.

Couldn't listen to that much music this year; I think I've heard about 70 new albums. Top three are:

Strange Journey Volume Three by CunninLynguists
Favourite album of the year. Just has a really cosmic sound to it, fantastic beats and solid MCing, even featuring my favourite artists like Blu, Masta Ace, Aesop Rock etc.

Benji by Sun Kil Moon
Shouldn't need to say why this is great. Never heard such honest story telling in music before, as well as some very nice guitar playing.

Atomos by A Winged Victory For The Sullen
Really gorgeous moments here, Winged Victory construct a very solid journey, and I adore the more electronic elements they've added to their music, that just sit in the background but heighten certain parts.

this Jman is of a much higher pedigree than late 2012-early 2013 Jman

Flying Soul by Aki Takase La Planete

Heartleap by Vashti Bunyan
Though any of these are essentially interchangeable with anything in my top 10
