Hi all,

I was trying to think of a good playlist of songs to reflect my disappointment at last night's presidential election (and senate) results and thought i'd pose it as a "mixtape challenge" to the BEA community. The challenge is to come up with a playlist of appropriate songs for someone who was (heavily) disappointed in last night's pres election results. The songs need to properly reflect the disappointment and corresponding poor outlook of the future of someone who didn't vote for Trump. In the spirit of the almost-forgotten compact disc, please keep the playlist to 20 songs or less. The winner receives my sincere gratitude. Smile

Knocked up with very little thought, and trying to avoid the obvious (such as What's Going On?, Times Are A'Changing, etc.), and sticking to 15 because there's power in brevity, and splitting these into 3 suites of 5 tracks:

ANGER SUITE

Buzzcocks - Oh Shit!
ESG - You Make No Sense
Dils - I Hate The Rich
Minutemen - The Politics Of Time
Ramones - KKK Took My Baby Away

DESPAIR SUITE

Spiritualized - Broken Heart
R.E.M. - Little America
Joy Division - Leaders Of Men
Crass - They've Got A Bomb
Young Marble Giants - Final Day

REDEMPTION SUITE

Sleater-Kinney - Dig Me Out
Pastor T.L. Barrett & Youth For Christ Choir - Like A Ship
Sham 69 - If The Kids Are United
Rage Against The Machine - Take The Power Back
Primal Scream - Come Together

(HIDDEN TRACK: Blur - Movin' On)
