Doesn't have the modern indie classic aptitude of Funeral nor the sunny and clean aesthetic of The Suburbs, but it has a quaint quality to it that makes me come back to it. While I do have soft spots for the aforementioned albums, Neon Bible is becoming the only Arcade Fire album I give a damn about now. _________________

Being the follow-up to Funeral is an unenviable task, but Neon Bible proved worthy thanks to excellent tracks such as "Intervention", "No Cars Go", and "My Body Is A Cage".

It's not as good as The Suburbs or Funeral though... :/

You're right, but it's still a lot better than Reflektor.

"No Cars Go" is such a masterpiece. When I flew into Miami a few days ago, I really wanted to hear that song, but Apple Music's servers were having trouble, so I was on the verge of tears trying to get it to play after a half-hour of failure.
(Then I tried to put on "I Wanna Rock" by Luke Campbell, and that had trouble too, but worked after about 20 minutes)

Their weakest, but still one of the better albums of that decade. Says something about band's quality.
Intervention is just glorious.

i think you're right. I really like the lyrics on Reflektor, i just think that the music lacks emotion and enjoyment tbh. It's not exiting like the other albums :/
