Probably doesn't need its own thread, but I need help finding a song. I believe it was released in the 2000's, I remember it being a hip hop song, but it had a very fast electronic beat that had pretty good ambiance. I remember the video had a darkish atmosphere to it. I don't remember who rapped on it, but I know it was a male and I know he had a lower pitches voice. Outside of this, don't remember much about the song. I always keep thinking it's titled "brown paper bag", but that's not it though it could have one of those words in the title. For some reason I've associated that song with that title so it might be another hint to help find it.

Could very possibly be the vocal mix of Brown Paper Bag from Roni Size/Reprazent's New Forms...

This was it! Wtf, why did this not show up in any search results for me? it happens every time. Once every six months, I want to listen to this amazing beat and have the title memorized, but the search results convince me that I'm wrong!

EDIT: Goddamn you DJ Khaled!

Indeed. I tracked down the original 4 x 12" set recently and whilst I love the vocal cut I'll always have a soft(er) spot for the 9-minute original. Banger fo' sho'.

...and a thank-you would be nice.... Wink

I saw Roni after Congo Natty at the Q Club in Brum. Tenor Fly was MCing. That lineup is unreal. Everyone smoking weed and going crazy. Vibes.
