I feel something special about this album because it's the closest masterpiece to my birthday. The same atmosphere of new period of my life, changes with these touching cold and warm sounds.

And to think that The Flaming Lips had this in them fifteen years into their career. They were already putting out semi-great records, but this and Yoshimi dwarfs everything else.
Track picks
1. Race For The Prize (Remix)
5. Buggin' (Remix)
11. Feeling Yourself Disintegrate
12. Sleeping On The Roof _________________ Inversion Verses

Yoshimi has aged terribly. This still sounds pretty great, though. It's no Clouds Taste Metallic or In a Priest Driven Ambulance, but you can't win them all. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

This album is mellow and quite touching but for me, like quite a few albums in the Top 100, it fails to live up to the hype for me. I have the CD but I only put the song Race For The Prize onto my iPod. The rest just sort of washes over me.

Feeling Yourself Disintegrate and Sleeping On The Rooftop, together, are without a doubt one of the best albums closers I've heard. _________________ ...and for dessert!

Extremely beautiful album. Still haven't listened to it as much as I did Yoshimi but definitely will in the recent future. Something about this album just sounds heavenly. _________________ All time
