Bowie's lyrical masterpiece, mellower sound compared to what's coming, but that only ancentuates the lyrics even more. He truly found his voice here.
Bewlay Brothers is such an underrated song _________________ All time

A unique album that will forever stay as a classic. The first half is outstanding, the second half I find only fine, but still a worthy listen.

Honestly I've never really felt this one. Life On Mars is a classic, and Oh! You Pretty Things is a favourite of mine, but otherwise the album sounds dated and flat.
Bowie is still in some kind of shell here. I think Ziggy is a vastly more mature record, and I think it's an amazing transition between the two in such a short space of time.

It's an underrated album to be honest. I'm guilty of it myself. It's not as consistent as Ziggy Stardust but it hits greater heights.

I feel quite the opposite, I feel this one is more consistent since it doesn't have songs as bad as It Ain't Easy and Hang On To Yourself (which is not bad just average), yet half of Ziggy is better than everything here except Life On Mars. _________________ All time
