A great Coverdale led Purple album. It both rocks and has a groove. In addition to Daydreamer's nominations I also give high praise to You Fool No One (more cowbell!)

I actually prefer this to Gillan DP. Coverdale's voice is so much better and the melodies are much more interesting with him.
