So, Chiefrocka especially, how fun has the press coverage around the Chiefs been this year?
Haven't been following the Chiefs, so Rocka please fill us in. Anyways, cool beans, we haven't had a football thread in a while. Eagles are doing ok so far.
Well, as a lifelong Chiefs fan and Kansas City area resident, I can say that most of us are still freaked out that anyone from our team is, like, nationally known. All of the commercials with Patrick and Travis were one thing, but now that Kelce is (allegedly) dating one of the most famous women in America, it's starting to feel like a fever dream.
Watching Taylor Swift in the box at Arrowhead was surreal, and then seeing some of the paparazzi photos of her and Travis out on the town was even moreso.
(Btw, not the only power couple I've seen photos of from around town this year. Rihanna and ASAP Rocky were already here during the summer when he filmed a music video here randomly.)

I just don't get it. Kelce is a fairly good-looking guy, and he has a really high-value contract, so why is he with Taylor Swift of all people? Guy like that, you'd think he could score a date with, say, Diamanda Galás or even Lydia Lunch.
Yeah I do find the whole thing amusing, just as it's correctly noted that every town outside Kansas City is soon going to be flooded with cheap second-hand Chiefs gear after the inevitable breakup.
Anyways I've dipped in and out of caring for Football but it's nice to see the Seahawks do well, the Jets being the Jets with all the usual luck and the Saints underachieving drastically. Yeah and again to answer Repo everybody up here in New England is filled with apathy about the new season, can't say I blame them or would wanna pay for a 200 dollar Gilette stadium ticket.
