With 24 contenders left in the grand tournament of who is the 21st best band/artist in the world, who would you put your money on at a bookmakers? That is, not who do you want to win but who do you think will win?
The lineup and the path one would have to take to make it to the finals can be found in one of the other posts in the Games section (EDIT: The one called BEA Not 20 - Group Standings).

I think that whoever survives the brutal Pavement/Simon and Garfunkel vs Talking Heads/NMH second round will eventually win the whole thing. I think Talking Heads will come out the victor.
I would like to see how the RYM users approach a Pavement/Neutral Milk Hotel match. It will either have 40 replies or 2.

In the end it'll be either Simon & Garfunkel, Joy Division or REM
Hoping for S&G, but I'm thinking it'll be one of the other two 😢
