Images, That Cold Day in the Park. Robert Altman. ( really mysterious!!!!)
Movie Movie. Stanley Donen (really fun)
Heaven's Gate. Michael Cimino. (totally bizarre)
The Osterman Weekend. Sam Peckinpah
The Tenant. Roman Polanski
Mike's Murder. James Bridges (totally awesome)
Nickelodeon and What's up Doc. Peter Bogdanovich. ( fun and hillarious)
On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. Vincente Minnelli (weird)
And also, Irvin Kirshner. Im not particularly a Star Wars or Action movie fan, so i cant be sure if he's a great director or not. but evidently a lot of people think he is because of Empire Strikes Back. But these are are a few films I've always really liked by him.

Yeah. I Confess is pretty decent. The Wrong Man also is pretty good.

Actually about to re-watch The Wrong Man for the first time in a few years. DVR'd it from it being on TCM at 3 in the morning. I haven't seen your pick of Family Plot, but since TCM is showing a ton of Hitch movies in July, I plan to watch or DVR it when it comes on later this month.

Family Plot is more like a comedy/caper movie than any kind of suspense movie. so I can understand why not many people like it. but I happen to love movies where the actors get to act silly and shit. That's what it's like. Its actually a lot of fun and the actors are so funny. And the plot is pretty amusing too.
