For those not familiar with how the ALC works, basically one user picks an album from the new year that they really love and want people to listen to as a way to promote new releases and consistent discussion. They post a thread about it (here's an example) along with their own thoughts about the album. Then, everyone listens to the album throughout the course of that week and discusses it on the thread.

Hi Guys,

i think this listening club is a really good idea. We started something like this in real (2 times in a year) here in a old carpenter shop.

We meet 2 times in a year and everybody can show his music favorites.

In 2016 there was a really good soul album from Michael Kiwanuka called Love & Hate.
