My daughter wrote her first song on guitar today. It's has zero chords & it's all open strings. But it sounds pretty cool. What are some of the best Female super simple (easy to play) but CATCHY punk bands of all time? Nothing too lo-fi or artsy. Pop Punk for girls essentially.

I think the Slits are WAY too cacophonious for my little girl. It too even me a couple of spins to get into them. No, I'm essentially looking for bubblegum punk fronted by females. The female equivalent of The Ramones kind of stuff. Nothing too artsy. Stuff like early Shonen Knife maybe. 🤔

lol. A lot of these album covers (not all) are WAY too scary for my little girls. lol. They're 8 & 5. When I asked this question a couple of days ago, I immediately thought of The Donnas and The Runaways. I am not letting them listen to any band with Bitch in the title. lol.
