The Enigmatic by Tha1ChiefRocka

I've started this chart, and I have plenty of others in mind, but I'm wondering some other user's favorites. Feel free to throw some really oddball stuff at me, as that is what I'm looking for.

Well of course the great Mrs Miller. And also Yma Sumac. (Somebody told me that she wasn't really exotic at all, but just an American and Yma Sumac was just her real name spelled backwards. So that would be Amy Camus. The friend who told me this is kind of full of shit so I don't know if this is true or not)

Here's another awesome one. This one is actually pretty good. Summertime Blues was actually kind of a hit, and it's kind of cool.

I looked up Yma Sumac and it said she was actually Peruvian American but she used to say she was from all these exotic places and islands and shit. She told different stories wherever she went. And she claimed to have a 6 octave range, but she only had a four octave range in reality.

Ikr. It's funny as hell. Her albums are actually kind of decent to listen to because it has really good 60s Pop musical arrangements that are really enjoyable and kind of nice actually.

God, I haven't heard Mrs. Miller in awhile. I think the only thing I remember is her cover of 'Downtown'. Thanks for the suggestions on the chart as well.

Unknown in the 80's, successfully rediscovered recently by a small label.
Very enigmatic figure and music (sort of minimalist, low-fi Julio Iglesias with layers of 80's gloomy synths..)

He's a good one, thanks. I've listened to the album where it's just his portrait, but not the other one.

Um, Deux Filles and Jürgen Müller come to mind. Both are more-or-less facades. Also, Burial is pretty odd. The Banksy of the electronic music industry.
