Hi, I'm Sandinistar/Adam. I'm a guitarist from NYC. I listen to a lot of post-punk/power-pop/that stuff. My favorite bands are The Jam, Faces, and Television.
I came to this site after realizing it would serve the same function as what I'd been doing in a spreadsheet (cataloguing the albums I'd listened to). I'd like to think I know more about music than your average person, but my knowledge is in rather limited areas. I'm not a huge fan of Radiohead, which I can sense most other people here don't agree with.
A sample of things I've listened to (and enjoyed) recently:

Material Issue - International Pop Overthrow
Beastie Boys - Ill Communication
Todd Rundgren - A Wizard...A True Star
XTC - Skylarking
Faces - Ooh La La
Burning Spear - Marcus Garvey
I look forward to using this site as an aid to expand my musical knowledge!

Had a little squizz at your chart. Seeing as you're a self-confessed power pop fan (and already love Big Star), do give Teenage Fanclub a spin if you haven't already, especially Bandwagonesque and Grand Prix. Hope you'll find something new to treasure whilst you're here.

I did listen to Bandwagonesque, didn't love it aside from a couple songs.[/i]
