Have gathered the top 50 albums of the year from Esquire, Stereogum, NME, Spin, Paste, JJ, Uncut, Pitchfork, Mojo, Q, Rolling Stone and made a top 50 of the highest scoring albums. 50 points equals finishing first, 50th gets a single point etc. Album has to be ranked in at least 3 charts to be eligible and if albums are tied in points preference will be given to an album appearing in more charts. If 2 albums are = in points and number of charts they appear on I leave them on a tie.

Not really had a lazy afternoon so I thought why not? Some divergence to our own 2018 chart with the Car Seat Headrest album ignored in all but one list and the dominance of female artists is pretty impressive. It maybe a pretty decent buying guide if nothing else.
