I went into this expecting to vote for All The Stars, which is really just a SZA banger weighed down by a subpar Kendrick verse. But 60 & Punk defied my expectations and gets my vote. A really beautiful, melancholy portrait of a broken man. _________________ Join us in the canon game / Add me on RYM
I'mma channel my inner Seth Cohen and throw a vote Death Cab's way, because I prefer their deliberate melodrama to SZA's overblown, vaguely cosmic, wannabe anthemic, Lucozade advert shite. If it were almost any other SZA track, it would get my vote, but this is dogshit. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
I may go 0 for 4 and i am ok with that. my feelings on modern music are vastly different than most on this site. my vintage tastes tend to line up a little closer to convention but are still not too ordinary.
