Falling Into Me is a phenomenal song with great production. But in this battle of two great pop confections, it's the reflective lyrics of my nominee that give it an edge. _________________ Join us in the canon game / Add me on RYM

Falling Into Me was Camp Guinea Pig Claw's song of last summer. We played it, It's Not Just Me and Hot Pink endlessly. Would love to see it win the entire tourney. My girls would freak!
My daughters love KKB too, but the 2016 version. Their new sound might grow on me, but I can't see it ever touching the songs off of Bonito Generation which is easily one of our favorite albums and some of the best pop of the last ten years.
'Falling Into Me', which is great. Though there are very few songs that wouldn't have gotten my vote against 'Dear Future Self'. From a musical standpoint, it is one of the most irritating songs I think I've ever heard. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
Not surprised to be losing this tough draw, but a little surprised by the margin so far. I wonder if Make Believe or Swimming (the others I considered nominating) would have fared any better here. Or maybe enough people simply don’t care for KKB’s new sound regardless. _________________ Join us in the canon game / Add me on RYM
Wouldn't have used the term 'polished' to describe Let's Eat Grandma. If anything, I feel there's a real charming sense of spontaneity, or at least a sort of happy accident vibe to this song. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
