"Black Balloons" isn't astounding but it's got a really enganging, jumpy flow to it, "Distortion" is a solid if somewhat by-the-number's (by Phil's standards) ME fuzzy freakout. A slight preference for the former here.
Already listened to Black Balloons after looking at Travelful’s 2018 chart - the album as a whole did zilch for me, but the opening couple of tracks from Ta13boo (of which this is one) were ace.
