Aprender a pronunciar

After listening to Def Leppard's pyromania and high n dry I can't hear anything else because everything seems irrelevant to me. And with you?

lol. That's certainly how I felt when Pyromania was first released. Definitely two GREAT hard rock albums and two of the best from the 80s.

Personally I think those are two awful rock albums. Thats the kind of corny, cliche, and boring dad-rock that made me stop listening to the radio years ago

Def leppard doesn't get a lot of love on this site.

Ironically both albums were huge throughout the world.
When the albums were released", everyone" enjoyed the music.
It was very cool to listen to this band.
For me, i dont mind listening to their music with 1 condition.
I can only listen to it once every 5 yrs.
Sorry.

At the time of release, I could listen to High and Dry although I preferred the debut, On Through the Night. With High and Dry, I could hear the sellout coming... and with Pyromania, it arrived in all its vacuous, cheezy un-glory.

If I never hear Def Leppard again, it'll be fine with me.

I love Def Leppard, sellout or no sellout.

And no one's mentioned Hysteria. That album made being a teenager more bearable for me.
Their albums totally rock.
And Joe Elliott complained that Jools Holland has never invited Def onto his Later music programme in the UK.
I think there is an element of snobbery where it's uncool to like them but I don't care. They are great.

Out of the 2 albums put forward I prefer Pyromania.

Interesting fact: I saw on a wacky TV programme once that the song Pour Some Sugar On Me is one of the all-time most popular songs used by strippers to dance to in strip clubs. There's a sleazy fact for you lol!!

I would put High 'n' Dry up there among the best hard rock albums.
It has some excellent guitar work from Steve Clark and Pete Willis,
great riffs and it rocks harder than any of their other albums.
They were young and hungry, songwriting was improved, Mutt had them focused,
but he not yet purchased the Cheese Whiz that he would liberally spray all over their upcoming albums.
I listened to it last week and it still sounds great to me.

I don't think I would even call Pyromania hard rock.

...are you people for real?

Fuck Def Leppard. Unlistenable. Irredeemably bad.
