My first time hearing the Elbow track, and while good it was a bit of a slog. Quite a contrast to its bouncy and humorous challenger.

It would have been a contest if it were Guinnesses feat. Angelika & 4ize from the same album, but for me it's an easy Ribcage win. Dynamics/vocals/music... hell yes explosions of passion.

We did a real thing didn't we - pissed in their champagne, didn't we.

PULL MY RIBS APART AND LET THE SUN INSIDE.

But it is a bit long innit. That's ok, I like eargasms that last a bit.

Not one of my favourite Doom tracks, but infinitely more interesting than its opposition.

Not very fly of me but that's the first time I've heard MF Doom (I'd never even heard of him before I went on BEA :?) It was a good introduction. This was the first time I've heard Elbow in a while- I used to dig this album but then got a bit bored of their "I love you man" kind of bonhomie and I sort of went off them. I think this is a pretty cool track though maybe its one to sink into on the album more than a total knockout track for me.

Long story short- a narrow vote for this MF Doom fella'.

Doom. I must say I was quite pleasantly surprised with that Elbow track, s everybody I know irl has always said they were terrible. This song is not terrible. It's not good either, but hey that's ok.
