I created my 2010s chart in late 2014, pretty much halfway through the decade, so there was already a large selection of works to choose from (and back then I didn't mind filling most of the chart with "good-enoughs"). This time I'm thinking of not making a chart for the decade until a third of the way or halfway through.
What are other people's takes? Will you make a top 100 right off the bat even if it's filled with "good-enoughs"? Will you include just the stand-outs, no matter how odd the number? Will you start with a top 10 and allow 10 more spots every year that passes? Will you wait a few years too?
I'll likely start right away and just add the standouts. Probably will include anything 8/10 or higher in my 20's chart and not care about it being an odd number of entries for the first few years. _________________ Griselda, by Fashion Rebels 2020's Hip-Hop 2020's Country
I haven't thought that far ahead. Many of my favorite Artists/Bands will probably not be residing on this side of the lawn by the end of the decade or long retired from making music. I only hope that more young people will pick up an instrument & play rock 'n roll.
