I can be a bit of a musical snob sometimes, and like to have my secret little bands that not many people know about

Well to be fair they are rather obscure. I only knew the above from a fact and know their first album has some cartoon versions of them although I have yet to listen.
For a really really really obscure band try the Plastic Lunchtime Flow. Seriously... where are they even now?

I was playing Bis's first album earlier on, well the compilation I Heart Bis, which has all the tracks from the first album on it. Plus a lot more. It's great.
Had a search for P L Flow. Couldn't find them anywhere, not even on Youtube.

Yes, although I wouldn't say they never got deserved commercial success, because I can always see why they didn't get it.

I am struggling to think of my own for this. Most music I have got either have some huge selling album or were found on this website in a top 100 year chart so they definitely at least sold something. All others would give their music away as free downloads.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but what is commercial success exactly? To me, an album either sells good enough and gets award show recognition or it doesn't. Of course one person's definition of good enough will be different compared to another person's definition of good enough.
God bless you always!!!
