juneunit's s/t is the only LP in these play in matches that I've listened to before. And it's an excellent ambient techno/dub experience. Pretty long, calming and meditative. I thought it was on my 2019 chart but apparently it's not (yet). Also I just love that album cover Very Happy

Great songs! Vocal jazz can be a bit of a hit or miss for me, but this was a hit. The vocals are spot on, and it's so playful, lively and positive. One of the best jazz albums of last year surely.

Interesting matchup, whoever progresses deserves it. I'm leaning towards Jazzmeia, but I'mma listen to both again.

1,5 hour of ambient was quite enough while there is nothing very special about the vocal jazz of Jazzmeia but it sounded very pleasant all the way through so I'll go for the latter.

I’ve tried, I’ve really tried but I just can’t get into Jazz. I’ve listened to a fair few of the classics and nothing. I get no emotional response whatsoever, It just doesn’t click for me which is quite frustrating. So in fairness I was willing to abstain on this match up if Juneunit didn’t impress me...but it did. Yes it’s a little long but it’s the kind of electronic music I really enjoy so it gets my vote here.

Loved the Juneunit album. Definitely a great mellow zone album Repo! A tranquil listen that retained my interest throughout and felt much shorter than its runtime.

Really enjoyed the Jazzmeia Horn album. She has a great voice and I appreciate how it's mostly original compositions and not standards. That said, it's a fairly straightforward example of vocal jazz, and I was hoping for more of a twist. She earns a spot on my honorable mentions chart, but Juneunit earns my vote.

I certainly don't dislike either, but the Jazzmeia Horn record, whilst obviously competent, was probably a little bland and predictable for my tastes. Fairly easy vote for juneunit.
